There is no better way to appreciate the beauty of the Asinara National Park, through a voyage on board a sailing ship! In fact, thanks to the Blue Mare Service's boats, the M/V (motorsailer) Santa Elisabetta, the M/V Asinara and the M/V Pescaturismo, once you arrive on the island of Asinara, you will be able to experience beautiful emotions!
Blue Mare Service's boat trips to the Asinara National Park have been following a simple, tried-and-tested route for many years now and start every day from June to September at 09:30/10:00 from the Piazzale Guardia Costiera (Portu Mannu) in Stintino to the island of Asinara with full-day and half-day trips, following the coast to Cala Reale and Cala d'Oliva, where you can go ashore and explore the village.
When you resume sailing, in the meantime you will be served a fish-based lunch on board (included in the cost of the excursion) and continue with visits to other coves along the coast, such as Cala Trabuccato, Cala Barche Napoletane and Porto Bianco, where you can swim in blissful solitude.
Depending on sea conditions and available weather, a visit to Fornelli will be made.
Return to Stintino in the evening, around 18:30/19:00.
After disembarking ashore, for those who are interested, it will be possible to make excursions inland in the Asinara National Park, aboard comfortable jeeps, so you will have the opportunity to explore the wild nature of this island!
THE FLEET
M/V Santa Elisabetta: Eleven metres long and equipped with a kitchenette, Filuga can accommodate up to 12 people. After a thorough renovation in 2005, it has been the most used boat so far, and it also participates in the numerous races held during the summer in Sardinia. Full-day trips are made with this boat.
M/V Asinara: Launched in 2009 after five years of restoration work, this fifteen-metre boat is the pride and joy of Blue Mare Service and has few rivals anywhere on the island and in the rest of the Mediterranean. It can carry up to fifty people, including the crew, and has all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable on board, with more space than its younger sisters. This boat also has a kitchen, so it is possible to have lunch on board. Full-day trips are made with this boat.
M/V Pescaturismo: This 12-metre lateen-sailed sailing vessel is the only true historical vessel to sail in the waters of the Asinara National Park, as an authorised operator of fishing tourism and can accommodate up to 12 people. During the excursion it is possible to go fishing by bolentino, palamito or with creels and have lunch on board, with the fish caught along the crossing. Full-day trips are made with this boat.
Speedboat: Boat equipped with all comforts, with comfortable cushions and awning for shelter from the sun, and can accommodate a maximum of 7 people. There are 3 bathing stops and an aperitif on board. Half-day trips are made with this boat, both in the morning and in the afternoon.
