Cassola di Castelsardo

In Castelsardo, accompanied by a good Vermentino di Gallura, in the medieval village overlooking the sea, one can enjoy fish soup Castellanese style.

It is made with fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic and chilli pepper and various fish, such as san pietro, snapper, lobster, octopus, cuttlefish, gurnard, scorpion fish, mussels, prawns and the renowned rock mullet. The big fish are cut into pieces, the small ones crushed and dissolved in the broth.

In June in participating restaurants, it can be enjoyed during the gastronomic festival dedicated to it.
