Rena Bianca Beach

The Rena Bianca is the main beach of Santa Teresa Gallura, a beautiful cove about 700 metres long characterised by a shallow seabed and soft, fine and, as its name suggests, bright white sand. At the shoreline, the sand takes on delicate pink hues thanks to tiny fragments of coral.

The beach is easy to reach once you arrive in the village, as it is located just below the main square. As soon as you see it, you will look forward to reaching it, although to get there you will have to walk downhill for about 300 metres along a flight of steps. The Rena Bianca is protected from the west wind by the Municca peninsula and the islet of Municchedda, on which stands the striking 16th-century Longosardo Tower.

You will fall in love with its clear, fresh and luminous waters, which fade from blue to turquoise and green. Precisely because of these characteristics, the Rena Bianca beach has been awarded the “Blue Flag” several times by the Foundation for Environmental Education, an accolade for the quality of its waters, the cleanliness of its coastline and the services offered, which guarantee comfort and safety to visitors.

Appreciated by divers and families with children alike, the Rena Bianca is also accessible to people with disabilities and has numerous facilities, ample parking and various refreshment points. In the bathing establishments present, you can rent pedal boats, boats and equipment for relaxing and snorkelling.

New: restricted access with ticket.

To contain the phenomenon of sand erosion and protect the environment, as of June 2024 the Municipality of Santa Teresa Gallura has introduced a closed-access system to the beach, valid from 1 June to 30 September. Entrance is only possible by booking online and paying a ticket, which can be made on the official website booking.lovesantateresa.it/en. The maximum number of daily visitors is limited to 1,015 people.
The cost per person is e € 3.50, but it is advisable to check every year.

After completing the booking, the user will receive a receipt to show at the beach entrance, where he/she will be given a disposable, waterproof and tear-proof wristband authorising the stay for the booked date.

At Rena Bianca it is compulsory to use a mat to be placed under the tarpaulins: you can bring your own or buy one at the info point.

Ciao, how do I rent beach chairs and umbrella at Rena Beach? is there a website to do this?

Antonio Casu

Good morning, Giovanni Gallo!

It is possible to book a sun umbrella and two sun beds at the I Fenicotteri bathing establishment in Stintino:

✔️ by calling the Mare & Natura Agency in Stintino, manager of the Establishment in question, at one of these phone numbers ???? +39 079 520097 or +39 393 9850435, reporting that you got the information from Sardegna Country;

✔️ by sending an email to ???? [email protected], reporting that he/she got the information again from Sardegna Country.

The sea at Ezzi Mannu beach is recommended for families with children, thanks to the shallow, sandy seabed. The I Fenicotteri bathing establishment offers customers: beach umbrellas and sunbeds, a Snack Bar – Grill with veranda and tables offering hot sandwiches, salads, seafood and meat dishes, sandwiches, shakes, ice cream, soft drinks and coffee at very reasonable prices!

✔️ Price list for one beach umbrella and 2 sunbeds:
???? First row: € 27.00;
???? Second and third row: € 25.00.

Thank you for contacting Sardegna Country and happy holidays in Sardinia and Stintino….and if you want to stay connected, through Facebook and Instagram!

Antonio Casu.
