Rena Bianca

The Rena Bianca is the town beach of Santa Teresa Gallura, a cove about 700 metres long, with a shallow seabed and soft, fine and (by its very name) very white sand, which at the shoreline takes on pink reflections, thanks to microscopic coral fragments.

It is easy to find once you arrive in Santa Teresa Gallura, since it is located below the town's main square and as soon as you spot it, you will be eager to reach it, although you will have to walk down a 300-metre descent and down a flight of steps, which you will walk through in one breath. The Municca peninsula and the islet of Municchedda protect it from the west wind, the promontory where the 16th-century Longosardo Tower stands.

You will fall in love with its clear, silvery, cool water in a thousand shades: from blue to turquoise and green. It is also because of these qualities that the Rena Bianca beach has been awarded the Foundation for Environmental Education's 'Blue Flag' several times, for the quality of its water, its clear shoreline and the services that ensure comfort and safety for tourists.

Popular with divers, as well as with children, this beach is accessible to the disabled and has plenty of facilities, a large car park and various refreshment points. In the bathing establishments present, you can rent patinos and boats, various equipment for your relaxation and snorkelling.
