S’Archittu beach

This beautiful beach is located in central-northern Sardinia, in the pretty village of S'Archittu, on the coast of Cuglieri, where a white cliff surrounds a pretty little beach and where an archway, created by the erosive action of atmospheric agents on the sedimentary limestone rocks, opens up. Originally a cave, today it is a magnificent natural monument, s'Archittu, perfectly set in an extraordinary environment completed by three small islands, smoothed by the waves, in the shape of mushrooms. The cove can be easily reached on foot directly from the tourist village, via a paved path north of the town.

The 'arch beach' consists of fine ochre-coloured sand with golden reflections, sprinkled with shell fragments, which bathes in a shallow, sandy seabed. It is equipped with various services and amenities such as a large car park, access for the disabled, canoe hire, refreshment facilities, as well as hotels, restaurants and businesses.
