Le Bombarde Beach

Le Bombarde is one of the most renowned beaches on the Coral Riviera and one of the most famous in Sardinia. An expanse of fine, soft sand, about a kilometre long, overlooking a clear sea with infinite coloured reflections, surrounded by volcanic rocks covered by rich Mediterranean scrub.

Le Bombarde beach is one of the many jewels of the Alghero area, with all comforts at hand: bathing establishment, bar, sailing centre, diving centre, hotel and campsite. It is ten kilometres from the centre of Alghero and only three kilometres from the hamlet of Fertilia.

It consists of fine, light-coloured sand with ochre tones and is washed by a transparent sea with blue-green colours. The seabed is sandy and you will quickly find yourself, after a few steps, already in deep water. Behind Le Bombarde beach is a lush forest of maritime pines, eucalyptus and Mediterranean shrubs, included in the Porto Conte regional park, which will provide relief from the summer heat. In addition, you will find ample parking, a bathing establishment with a bar and grill, and a sailing and diving centre.

Not far from the beach, you will have the opportunity to visit the nuragic complex of Palmavera.
