Piscina Rei Beach

Piscina Rei is one of the vast beaches that form part of the beautiful coastline of Costa Rei, in the municipality of Muravera, and can be reached by taking the Strada Panoramica (panoramic road) to the resort, on which beach accesses are indicated. Piscina Rei is a wonderful stretch of coastline surrounded by junipers, Mediterranean shrubs and sea lilies. The whiteness and softness of its sand, crystal-clear water and shallow waters will give you the impression of bathing in a natural pool.

It is the ideal beach for families with children and teens, for anyone looking for relaxation and also, for lovers of spearfishing, diving and snorkeling. There are various eateries and bathing establishments where you can rent various equipment, to liven up your day. Other services and amenities, you will find in the nearby tourist center of Costa Rei.

Around Piscina Rei, you can observe flamingos in the Muraverese lagoons and archaeological sites, such as: the megalithic complex Cuili Piras, near the menhirs of Nuraghe Scalas, whose rows are oriented according to stars and celestial vault, and the Punic fortress of Baccu in the overhanging locality of Mount Nai.
